There is no provision of entrance test to get registration in CA course. 10+2 exam appeared students from any stream (MANAGEMENT, SCIENCE, ARTS ) securing minimum pass marks or upto CGPA C+ can join CA.
Registration is open throughout the year. A student may register anytime during the year. However, examinations are held two times a year. For example, examinations under ICAN are held in June and December. And, under new course of ICAI Foundation, Intermediate and Final exams are held in May and November. CIMA conducts internal class tests very frequently. Normally, two types of tests are conducted. Firstly, Chapterwise tests are held on weekly basis after completing the particular chapter. Secondly, internal class tests are held at least 3 times during the study period in the board examination environment and top three students in each test will be awarded cash prize.
